Commissioning of 3D seismic & permitting

The 3D seismic exploration and the associated permitting have been commissioned.

Current phase: Seismic exploration

Planning of the seismic is underway, with active measurements set to begin in October.

Geological data evaluation

After the exploration, the collected date will be evaluated, and potential drilling pads will be identified.

Site selection, detailed planning, preparation & approval of the main operation plan

Various expert opinions are required for this, which are incorporated into the preparation of the main operating plan. Funding opportunities (e.g. BAFA) can also be explored.

Tendering & commissioning of the drilling contractor

Once the main operating plan has been approved, construction of the drill pad and drilling of the boreholes can begin.

Drill pad construction & start of drilling

If successful, build a heating center to integrate geothermal energy into the district heating grid.
